Information: A Grade II listed Villa built in 1826, the main house sits beautifully on a sought after square overlooking the formal garden and within close proximity of Kensington Palace.
Works: The whole house underwent a major refurbishment including a new double basement and various extensions in portland stone, brickwork and traditional lime render. Stewart Truman carried out the brickwork to the feature staircase that on plan is elliptical and rises over 5 floors, this needed to be built with complete precision demanding the very best craftsmen, we completed it successfully and on time. We also undertook the rear extension brickwork to Orme Court the bricks used were made my petersen from the netherlands and the size on gauge was 50mm all laid in flemish bond in lime mortar. Other works included the repairs and structural alterations to the main house and front walls.
